just got the Krome 88 coming from a yamaha MM8 .Using it for live performances in multiple Bands .
My MM8 had programmable presets for each bank that i could store specific voice and key transposition as needed for quick change in between songs
Can anyone tell me if there anything close to that capability with the Krome
Thanks in advance as any input would be greatly appreciated

You can create combis with different key transpositions by first creating the voice(s) for the combi, then pressing the page button. Next press P3 Timbre Param on the screen. Touch the tab on the bottom labeled Pitch 1-8. Then, for each of the timbres you are using in that combi, change the Transpose number. So, for example, if you have to play a song in Bb and you'd rather play it as if it was in the key of C, you would change the transpose number from +00 to -02. SRV and Hendrix tuned their guitars a half step down so if they were playing in Eb and you wanted to play in E, you would transpose to -01. It also works the other way so that if the song was in Eb and you wanted to play as if in D, you would set the transpose to +01.
Of course, the other alternative would be to press the Global button, and then change the number on the Key Transpose, but the disadvantage to that is you would have to exit the combi, go to global, and then go back to the combi; not convenient if you are in the midde of a song.
Hope this helps.
