Pedja,
I set my pedal to CC# 11 expression. This enables you to control multiple timbres while maintaining their respective balance with each other.

I am again with question. I set my pedal to expression CC# 11 (normal state for expression pedal settings) and volume slider to "10", but I didn't succeed to control multiple timbers while maintaining their respective balance with each other. Can you give more instruction what I have to do it to get this. Only what I can control are all timbers and drums but in way of volume control. I can't influence only in one timber if I have more (How you do it?). Thanks for all your attention.

Pedja,

1. Open a Combi page
2. Lower tabs - MIDI filter/zones
3. Then...choose MIDI 3
4. Uncheck "enable foot pedal" on any timbre you do not want to effect

Note: (set pedal in global to 'expression' CC#11)
if you enable 2 timbres - let's say horns and strings - and set volume of horns to 50 and volume of strings to 100 - that balance will be maintained.

Note: MIDI 1 "enable damper" does same thing for sustain pedal

Thank you, for your detail explanation, I really appreciate this and I hope that I will succeed this time. Excuse me because I boring you with question, but my experience with this kind of pedals is "0". I wish you all best.

To bad they never supported the Korg EC5 pedal for Kronos, having 5 footswitches can be extremely beneficial for people that play sitting like me...

A Behringer FCB1010 is only 59 euros more, has twice the switches and two expression pedals.

Have any of you tested the XVP-20? From Korg which expression pedal is more convenient by its use? (regardless of the price it costs).

The XVP-20 seems to work very well with the Kronos, when using the pedal's dedicated expression jack and supplied cable (TRS). It can also be used as a two channel volume control for other audio sources simultaneously, using TR cables for each channel's input and output.

As a "bonus" either of the "volume" jacks can also be used for expression, using a mono (TS) cable, and has a different pedal position to expression effect relationship to the dedicated expression jack, with the added benefit of being able to set the minimum expression effect or volume with the pedal in the "toe up" position, using the Minimum Volume pot on the back of the pedal.

Thank you, voip!
I imagined for the difference in price that would be a much better accessory. Then, I will buy directly the XVP-20!.
