Kronos MIDI Automation, parameters change via MIDI map?

Did a quick search and didn't find anything on this topic?

Has anyone any ideas how to achieve mapping parameters to MIDI CCs on the Kronos.

For example, I have sounds sampled e.g. Juno Pads/M1 Pianos within HD1. If I create a 'Combi' and layer these sounds - I can't use built in controls to affect both timbres simultaneously? - If my controller section is in 'RT' or 'Tone ADJ' mode, the available parameters correspond to the timbre layer selected within that page (if that makes sense).

Is there any way of globally assigning say MIDI CC20 to be cutoff (across multiple layers/timbres) then using an external controller to forcibly change all layers simultaneously..etc? - Or is there something I'm missing on the build in control surface that will achieve this?

Tone Adjust will only work on one timbre at a time, but the RT setting should affect all timbres where the controls are applicable (e.g. CX3 doesn't have a filter).
