Convert Korg Pa midi files to GM standard

Post by Rodrigo.B »

I have some midi files with RX and DNC sounds for my Korg Pa. How I can convert the midi files to the General midi standard? Help me please!

You could load your midis in Sequencer Mode and swap all the instruments to their GM equivalents then re-save the song.
This may not be necessary however - it is my understanding that whatever keyboard or program playing the original files will ignore the the special sounds if not available and will revert to GM sounds.

Sorry for late reply. This doesn’t work for me. I know that the Korg Pa has a especial function to do this kind of conversion but I don’t know where it is and how to use it. Please help me!!! :(
