Please see below paragraph, p. 27, in the user manual.....glossary of terms.
The last two words silent "break", how can that be done while in "songbook" play? There always seems to be drum beats of some sort being played when pressing break button. How can you get a 1 measure silent break.
Thank you
Joe
Fill-in & Break
During a performance, a drummer may often perform a “fill” -
such as when transitioning from a verse to a chorus – adding
extra dynamics and keeping the beat from getting too repetitive.
The Pa900 offers four Fill-ins specifically programmed for each
Style, that may be automatically recalled when choosing the corresponding
Variation (Auto Fill). A Fill-in may be drums alone
or drums with instrumentation. Then, there is even a silent
“break”.

silent breaks
I have 2 ways of doing this on the fly:
The first requires no programing at all - simply turn off the chord "memory" button for a second, then back on - the accompaniment will not return until you play another chord.
The other way is my personal fav - I repropgramed the 3 assignable buttons to
1) LH Sound (manual bass) on/off
2) ACC bass on/off
3) acc 1-5 parts on/off
During style play - hitting buttons 2 & 3 turn off all acc sounds while leaving the drums play. You can use fills etc during this time.

Your first suggestion is good for leaving just the drums playing, like it.
On your second suggestion, I do not see “1) LH Sound (manual bass) on/off”, in the assignable function list “. I can use the “drum mute” function to get total silence though, that works well. Using "break" button still gives drums, percussion, etc.
Thank you for your help, Uncle Dave
