Korg M1 sysex files

Post by maxibrady1 »

Hi guys just a quick one if anyone can help.
I have 3 sounds on my m1 that I would love to convert.
Problem is when I open the files on midi ox , I can't dentify as it's all number's. How would I know for example (a brass sound)
Where it is.. or a sax sound ....
Please help if you can...
Thanks in advance.

You can load it on your M1 and listen.

Also, maybe the name is somewhere in the numbers.
You can try PCG Tools to load the file and see if there is a name shown.

It does for (most) Korg M1 files.
