XVP-20 expression pedal

Hi,

I got an WVP-20 expression pedal, and have an issue with it: when using it to control expression, it only works for about the last 25%. Any less than that and I don't get any sound.

On the pedal is a knob to adjust minimum volume, but it only works for volume control and not expression.

I have looked in the Pa4X manual to find if there are nay many settings to change this, but have not been able to find any.

Can you offer any recommendations?

Have you calibrated the pedal - see p833 of User Manual (OS 2) ?

Yes - I did the calibration (with the minimum and maximum pedal position)

I use Yamaha FC7 foot pedal for its large foot print and the above calibration procedure worked fine for me

Mine is the same,it has a very short range compared to the FC7.-Terry
