Korg Pa4x Choir & Strings sounds: Angels Choir Demo QR
One of my most popular sounds on the korg kronos was the Angels Choir sound. I was curious if the Korg Pa4x could also those kind of choirs. I have to admit, it wasn't easy, but eventually i managed to recreate it by combining choir vocals and analog synth samples to make that sound i was looking for. Those samples were already available on the korg Pa4x, so there is no need for me to load any custom Samples.
Here's an example of a few of those patches from the Choirs And Strings QR Page (P3). It starts with the Angels Choir Sound and then i show some other sounds of that page so that it's a themed improvisation with those sounds.
So here are some choir and strings examples of sounds that i created on the Korg Pa4x in the synthesizer area of the arranger. All sounds were programmed directly on the pa4x without the use of any custom samples. So there is no need to load your own samples in the pa4x for these kind of sounds.

i agree, and it sounds even better on the pa4x itself without the youtube compression!Sam CA wrote:Qui, this sounds really good!!!
i never expected upfront that i would be able to create sounds on the pa4x that sounds as good as on the korg kronos. It shows what kind of powerhouse the pa4x can be when you are creating your own kind of sounds.
And even better, when you are going to use your own sounds in the standard Styles that are already on the pa4x you can get a total different type of performance due to the different kind of sounds.
I already use this a lot and i have a video on schedule to show how easy it is to use standard styles on the pa4x with your own sounds and how this changes your total performance.
@Qui,
Excellent sound.
It would be great if you could release a commercial package of different sounds (Keyboard Sets for Pa4X based on Factory Samples) for different kind of music style.
I am a pro gig player and I have neither the sound designing's knowledge nor time to learn, in my case I would be happy to purchase some practical and efficient sounds
based on factory samples (Keyboard Sets in case of Pa4X) from you at a reasonable price.
Keep up the good job.
