Backup all midi files in one go

Post by Vyodacoda »

Hi everyone,
I am on the verge of doing the upgrade and have a couple of quick questions.

What is the best/quickest way of getting my midi files onto an external hard drive.

Do I have to do V2 first then 2.1

Many thanks

Just copy and paste (Media/Copy) to a computer or hard drive connected to one of the USB Ports, you have to enable the connection first or alternatively you could just use a Memory stick to back them up and transfer to the computer from there.
Korg PA5X, Kawai MPIISE, Ketron SD4, Roland Integra 7, Motu Audio Express, Cubase 13 Pro, NI Komplete 12 Ultimate (Collectors), Omnisphere, TC-Helicon Voicelive 3, Bose L1m2 (x2) + B2 (x2), Bose S2 Pro.

Hi Stilli,
Many thanks for this.
The connecting to the pc worked just fine thank you.
Still not sure how you back them up to a memory stick though.
Any hints as to how i could do that.
Best regards from me.

It's a lot easier to just drag and drop everything to a computer and then make additional back ups that way. At least that's how I do it.
