i've got one...the electric piano's are brilliant...but there's still things on my yamaha i miss...like the ability to play a style straight from a connected usb...in stead of having to load it into a user slot...not impressed with the rock styles...my s770 rock styles blow the pa 700's out of the water...still i haven't had it long...may'be i'll change my mind

The PA700 sound quality is vastly superior to the Yamaha S770, I tested them side by side and went for the Korg.

The sounds on the S770 is more akin to their low value E series 363/453 models in my opinion.

Yamaha support sucks, whereas Korg is much superior.

I got mine at the end of September of this year and I am in love with it. I normally play about 50 performances a month in many different locations and it is an incredibly powerful instrument.

The more I play it, the more I like it.

I have visited the Bonusware section on Korg's site too and downloaded many of the styles I remember from the PA500 and other models.

I compared PA1000 and PA700 and ultimately went with PA 700. I could not justify the price difference as the extra features were not of use for me. If there was better keybed on PA1000 like my kronos I would have gone with PA 1000.

You are able to load styles directly from usb on the pa700 using 'Direct Access' .

Global -> Mode Preferences ->4th Tab to Media -> Direct Folder and Browse to usb..

Hope that's of help to you. :D

Hope that helps you enjoy your pa700 more. It's a great feature thats been sadly missing on pa keyboards for a long time. Would be useful for Korg to maybe add an assignable switch mode in software to go direct to the Direct Access screen with one button push. Would be simple enough I would think..Anyway enjoy your new Korg. :D
