Hi, a very nice track :)
GregC wrote: Enjoyed your song. Like how you worked in the layered piano part into the EDM ( ? or techno ) rhythm beat. Being a piano person, I would have mixed it with less drum volume and give the piano more space in the verse.
thank you for listening and giving feedback Greg. Im not a proffessional so its always nice to get some feedback :)
Its usually just me alone in my cave ... (damn..i need to get out more..hehe)
I am not a pro either. Just another guy toiling away, experimenting with Songs on Kronos.

I think your track is very close to a perfect pro result. Thats 1 of the great things about Kronos- we can use it to resemble a pro studio recording effort.
The variety of good music in this thread is staggering.

I think giving feedback is important. It can be technical , a different preference or a comment about style. I would rather read a comment vs hearing ' crickets'.

My latest Kronos instrumental original is named Money !!

Money is center of almost everyone'e existence. People love money, hate money ( esp the lack of it).

My song ( musically) explores the phases and emotions we go thru, in adult life, with money. As it effect our choices and lifestyle, careers, etc.

Here's your Money !! It may not be much ;)

Me and my girlfriend made a Christmas song for fun, nothing serious.

The base of the song is Kronos 2, Comination B:96 Jazzy Brush House, and then added with a few Cubase softsynths.

That is some wicked playing! This was one of my favourite tracks back in the day. Your guitar solo is spot on :)

Here is a Song I put together, 100% Kronos. Has a new age feel (90's) . Spent a bit of time getting a clean Strat sound out of Kronos.

Anyone into ambient

Post by Sonic Bodhi »

Anyone into ambient style music can listen to my free for download Christmas release album here:

http://sonicbodhi.bandcamp.com/album/the-endless-dream

13 tracks..

Some of the instrument voices are in tandem with Korg iOS apps with the Kronos coupled as a MIDI controller. iWavestation, for one, and iM1, for the other. Some of the off-brand iOS apps include Sunrizer Synth, and Arturia iMini.

Let me know what you think!

And hey, did I mention, free download? :D

nice playing technique! Yes, the Kronos has a lot of great electric guitar sounds in it, as well as acoustic.. which I've used on occasion. Being originally a guitarist, and a keyboardist second, I look for the sounds that are most indistinguishable from the real thing *and I have a Strat equipped with a Roland Guitar synth GK3 pickup*

Anyway, good job putting this together!

dude that rocked!. love the seven-string guitar. What are you, a Juillard graduate or something? Bordering on virtuoso, man. I am mightily impressed, and I'm a Dream Theatre fan. Also Liquid Paradigm.
