Korg X-50 - Need to rebuild ONE SOUND (Combi A008)-Will Pay!

Post by sallyzito »

Hi!
I need to rebuild/restore ONE SOUND on my Korg X-50 for a gig I have this weekend!
Combi A008, Song of Africa.
I could do this on a telephone call and could paypal you $20 for your time. Help! Please... :)

If the need is to restore the single Combi A008 to the original factory sound, then the necessary steps are detailed in the right hand column on page 111 of the Operations Guide. Make sure the Memory Protect checkbox is unchecked first (see p 88 for this).

The Op Guide can be downloaded from here:

http://www.korg.com/us/support/download/product/1/232/

Be patient, the Korg webpages can take an age to load completely.

If you need any help or confirmation that you're doing the right thing, just post back on here.

Good luck for the gig.

Hi! If you go to GLOBAL, press UTILITY and choose "LOAD/PREOLAD DATA" option.

You may choose correct option or can restore all you data! (erasing your edited sounds and combi!!!).

In your case, you must move a value dial and select COMBI > ONE COMBI > A008 Song of Africa (NOT "COMBI ALL" or COMBI BANK").

I recommend you save all your data before this operation, you can save all data with USB cable and X50 editor software.

Greetings from Argentine.
