I've been a jackass and possibly broke my VOLCA SAMPLE

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to the forum, so hi nice to meet you!

I've just bought a used but very well kept Volca Sample.
I had it for about a week and broke it, you are more than welcome to laugh at my stupidity!

This is what hapoened: the other day i finally got to introduce the Volca to the Minilogue.
I had no mixer so i had the minilogue playing in a friend's small guitar amp and the Volca in the aux input of a home stereo.
The Volca was giving the sync to the ML.

Was having a lot of fun, When i sadly decided to connect the volca's out to the amp phones input (it said "phone" i tought it was a second input for a smartphone or something...).
So the minilogue's sound went inside the volca thru the amp.

The volca immediately turned off and never went back on, now it just seems dead. Btw was powering the volca with the korg 9v plug.

I know i was really stupid but i don't understand what happened... you guys think it is fixable?

I'm a kid with a broken toy, please help!

You connected an output to an output and probably blew something inside the volca.

I wish - secret combo of starting up holding down X,Y,Z will cure all hardware faults!

i broke the green electribe i had. plugged the wrong power supply into it. it happens to everyone

Sounds like Lo-Z output to Lo-Z output. Not much voltage but current may have flowed. Do you have someone with electronics experience to look at it? I modded my FM to have midi out but should have taken note to see if the volca's have a separate output amp, which would make it more easily repairable.

In other news, I can't load samples onto my Sample anymore, regardless of using different devices and levels.

A technician i know is looking into it, i cross my fingers...

What happened to your Sample?

Probably over-voltage or shorting something from trying to load samples from so many device and cable combinations. Even when it did work, it was ridiculously sensitive to levels.

I refuse to spend much more time with it, since it's a stupid way to load samples in any year >2000 and obviously only there to decrease cannibalization of higher end products like electribe sample.
