I am using a kawai MP11 as a controller keyboard and would like turn on the drum track and / or karma via the mp11: firstly, is this possible and secondly, what are the midi CC#s that would perform this for each entity?

For KARMA CC#14 is the control change
For the Drum Track switch, there is no CC assignment right away. However, you can use the Function Assign feature to configure a control change for it (on the global MIDI channel). For example, I'm using CC#15 for this - it is not assigned beforehand on my KRONOS.
