Making Pa4x samples sounds plugins for DAW
I have sample sounds on Pa4x. I want to convert them so i can use them as plugins on DAW. Without the PA4x. Is this possible?

Are you asking if you can export PA4X multisamples (using your sample WAVs), then I think the answer is no.
But I am not deep into this side much as I do not use DAWs at all (that's all about to change - hmmmm another learning curve looming!!
)
Some other members, like Antony S, Asena, Sam CA and Qui would be able to confirm this I'm sure.
Cheers
Pete

Re: Making Pa4x samples sounds plugins for DAW
As I see you mean custom sampled sounds ... so Yep you can , depending of how experienced you 're in this !dhyan wrote:I have sample sounds on Pa4x. I want to convert them so i can use them as plugins on DAW. Without the PA4x. Is this possible?
The basic workflow briefly for famous VST Kontakt sampler :
- Explore your custom Pa4X sounds deeply , find out the used user multisamples and export one by one the needed
multisamples (KMP/KSC format)
- Convert them using utilities (like Chicken System/Awave Studio) to Kontakt format NKI
- You must merge stereo MS noted as -L , -R in one solid stereo samples layer
- Use Kontakt sampler and replicate the used in PaSeries Sound effects of every particular sound.
- If a sound uses more than one multisample then you have to create a multimple layers Kontakt sound using editor there !
- Save as monolithic NKI(s) and use them in your DAW opening Kontakt sampler .
If you don't get a clue then hire a sound developer to do it for You from here http://wavesart.eu/Hire
Hope this helps
