What are the " Improved MAXXAUDIO ouput" in comparison to any other version ??Ogahimself wrote:I use the Pa4X MG Edition II. The keyboards are made by Korg Italy for Music Gear (Korg Lebanon). the main additional features are as follows:
- Quick Select (proprietary to Music Gear)
- Vailar Analog Emulator (proprietary to Music Gear)
- Arabic scale
- Style: 3 intro + 4 fill + break + 6 variation + ending
- 2GB RAM (1.5GB for Music Gear Samples + 400MB user accessible) so it basically handles 3 sets (Factory, User and Direct) without exhausting the RAM
- Improved Maxx Audio output

Re: Korg pa4x mg2
IT comes with specific Maxx Audio profiles already built-in to work with the Vailar analog emulator. these profiles are protected and cannot be edited but you can still create your own profiles or turn maxx audio offD575 wrote:What are the " Improved MAXXAUDIO ouput" in comparison to any other version ??

Yes,Vex wrote:As I can see on demos , this version of Korg PA4x is far more usable than international version, much useful sounds and DKs for styles .... International verison of pa4x is like a car with entry price and basic equipment ... :\

Or we can describe it in other way;
Korg Pa4X MG II edition = Fully Loaded
Korg Pa4X International = Basic version
I believe you can trade-in your version to the MG II version. Please double check with Jack from Music Gear:miden wrote:Which begs the question is there any way owners of the "international" can buy this upgrade?

If not possible, you can always sell yours and buy the MG II edition from them, and they deliver world wide with DHL.

you are right Vex...Vex wrote:I don't think so.... This MG OR is not only software related, it is hardware, too... Layout is not the same, ....
the Vailar OS is based on the hardware as well. the physical routing of the hardware buttons has changed (location and functions of the buttons) and the main architecture of the software as well. for example:
- the MG II Edition comes with 6 variations in the styles not 4
- Quick Style function: you can set 3 preferred styles accessible with a single touch at anytime (no matter is they are on Factory, User or Direct) Quick tempo function
- Quick Select (hardware): the quick select not only works from the touch screen, it is also routed through hardware buttons so you can actually use it all without the screen (in case, god forbid, ur screen misbehaves for some reason while you are on stage)

Your reply is a bad representation of all the users of this great arranger. to each his personal opinions. you don't have to agree with them but you DEFINITELY are NOT supposed to insult anyone.legolas wrote:hahaha some ignorant loser says it is ugly because you do not know how to handle this machine i bet you can not even use its sync/stop buttons
