Have you tried feeding the Nanokontrol in to a powered USB hub and then from the hub to the PA?

It could be that the USB hub on the 700 is not powered.

Hi
Today I did try to work with korg nanokontrol2 with korg pa700/700 oriental .
Have to say - KORG PA700/700 oriental does not support USB powered devices !!! Not with USB hub powered , nither without USB hub powered !!!
USB powered midi devices support have only korg pa4x and korg pa1000 !!!

No USB Host (Pa700)

... hard to believe, if one relies on manual of the Pa700:
Page 6: The USB ports allow for connecting Pa700 to any external storage device or personal computer, smartphone or tablet without the need for a dedicated MIDI interface.
Page 14: USB ports
Use these connectors to connect your Pa700 to a personal computer or tablet (DEVICE) or to connect an USB device, like an USB pendrive or another
musical instrument to be used as a controller (HOST).
kind regards
