Leslie speaker simulation pedal

Post by Badplaya »

Hey everyone! Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with using a Leslie simulation pedal vs the on board leslie. Specifically it's there anything better in a pedal than what the Kronos hard offers sound wise?

I use the Ventilator II. I route the organ sound (dry) out individual output 1 to the Ventilator. I take the Vent outputs (stereo) and run them back into the Kronos audio inputs. There I can set the levels and add FX's like reverb etc. (You can also do that before sending it out)

I have the Vent on the floor and use a foot pedal plugged into the vent. I like the pedal to be momentary, fast while pressing and slow when released.

It sounds fantastic!

+1 for the vent. Amazing pedal. That said, I sold mine to keep it simple with onboard Leslie. If it’s an external pedal you seek, the Vent is it.

I love the vent for the Leslie. The drive is so so.

Leslie (and even the drive) are way better than the ones on board of the Kronos

What pedal do you use for that Geoelectro?

Any pedal I use seems to put it in fast mode. Slow is not possible anymore

I custom wired a pedal. I'll have to look up the specs again. You also have to put the Vent in a certain mode as well. I'll try to get back with it when I have more time.
