My Korg SV1 73 Black doesn't turn on.

I was gonna turn it on to jam around a bit but then noticed that the keyboard wasn't turning on at all, neither the tube lights or the orange leds. I've tried using another power cable and it still didn't turn on each time i turned the switch.

Weirdly enough, yesterday I heard a weird quick metalic bending sound from the position of my keyboard, but assumed it was from the sheet stand, since it's being held against the wall.

Any ideas of what the problem might be? I'll probably have to send it to repair but wanted to know any hints to why this might have happened.
