Korg M1 VSTdoesn't automatically recognise MIDI controller?

So, up until probably around a month ago, my M1 VST doesn't recognise my MIDI controller automatically anymore like it used to.

I have to go into preferences and select the device each time I boot the software up. (I'm using the Microkey.)

Sometimes it won't even show up in the device settings. I have to close and re-open the VST to get it to show up in the list when that happens.

Has anybody else had this issue and know how to fix it?
