This is my 41st original using Kronos and the SEQ.
My song inspired by everyone with a big heart or a great heart,
who passionately give it their all every day.
Its a driving rock techno dedication, 125 BPM with some quotes about
having heart, facing the odds and believing in yourself.
Listen to your heart ! Its stronger than you think !

music and find an inserted voice over to be a distraction. Or they disagree
with what is said. As the song writer, I chose a brief voice over to enhance
the message of Heart of Steel

Hi Sam, very nice and musical
Than you Liviou2004. I was joking but still I thought it was funny how I was posting a naked piano track right under Network 1's explosive tracks.

This is my tribute song about the devastating California wildfires

I like the guitar sound and bass a lot. Very natural. Sounds like real instruments vs Korg midi instrument. I hear a Korg EP- which is very nice sounding.Jonbajo wrote:Just a small sketch of a song I wrote. Haven't added any horn or singing yet. What do you think!?

I have different taste in drums- my pref is for a jazz type kit and different sounding snare. The groove you have is very good.
I would guess you will add a bridge to the song
Re: Kronos Sequencer Song
All of it is processed thru the Kronos. No DAW or PC work. All Kronos sound except for Guitar and Bass.Liviou2004 wrote:Hello,Jonbajo wrote:Just a small sketch of a song I wrote. Haven't added any horn or singing yet. What do you think!?

Re: Kronos Sequencer Song
Well the guitar and bass is real. Props to one of my musical friends. everything else is Kronos. Hence why they sound real lol. Yes the Korg EP is very subtle yet effective. I like how it plays off of the guitar solo and generally adds a nice ambiance.GregC wrote:I like the guitar sound and bass a lot. Very natural. Sounds like real instruments vs Korg midi instrument. I experiment a lot with drums of all kinds. Sometimes I want something that just generally lays back "behind the curtain" so to speak. Other times I like a lot of syncopation and interaction as if it were more of a live recording session.
And as far as a bridge. That's an excellent idea. Never occured to me really. It would break up the transient laid back feel and create more interest to the listener. Good suggestion! Thanks you!

And to your audience if you are going commercial.
Lots of vocal pop songs have 4-5 chords and no bridge. With no bridge, that could keep a song short.
When your vocalist steps in, typically thats the most important part- as the audience focuses on that.
All my originals have bridges, but they are all instrumental.
