The Saxophones Exs 177 finally released !

Post by SoundsOfPlanet »

Hello

I would like to invite all of you to check my newest sound library - EXs 177 Saxophones.
EXs 177 Saxophones consists of 128 Programs ( alto, tenor, soprano, baritone saxophones, trumpet as well as Section Saxes type sounds ).
For each sound, the following controllers have been programmed : SW1 , SW2, Joystick, Karma, DrumTrack and Pads.

Apart of 128 Programs, 32 WaveSequences are included as well, which complement the sound of programs.
WaveSequence are in most cases responsible for Fall/Rise effects – programmed for joytick: JY to position (-Y) , but not limited to that.
I do not think that such natural sounding saxophones can be found in any other electronic keyboard instruments – so even more I encourage you to download the demo version and install it in your instruments – it does not cost anything .
Eventual uninstalling procedure is described in PDF instruction available on product’s site.

All your comments are welcome, too.

Hi there,

Just installed the demo version on my K2. Truly great sax and ensemble programs, you did a remarkable job with those sampled instruments. 8)

StephenKay and KK Thanks for your comments – they all are very important for me .

Purchased this sound set this Black Friday and have to say they are great, one of my favorite purchases and I purchased many more of the more expensive sets from the famous KAPRO & KORG Austrian Piano and they are right up there in quality.

What I would recommend is you make a video showing the sounds being played and how to use them on the Kronos this will help you sell more and show off how well they work. Like a little tutorial video.

Great job keep it up :D .

thats easy. Get a 2nd Kronos. And when that fills up, a 3rd Kronos.

Might as well go for platinum , then gold. :D

I had 2 for a little while, but sold my Kronos2..
since i only use it at home, the orriginal Kronos is more then sufficient..

Maybe Korg can take care of this in a software upgrade..
Just by allowing people to choose different boot images a startup..
And an easier way to manage the data inside the Kronos..

Which will probably not happen with the current Kronos,
But might be something for a replacement..

We can have custom PCG files. Thats close to your ' boot image '.

Most of us are maxed out on banks, for sure. we have griped about that constraint for some years. Since nothing has happened, its difficult to be optimistic.

I agree, about data mgmt being cumbersome. On mac so PCG tools does nothing for me.

All of this and other suggestions have been discussed routinely. There was a glimmer of hope for 1 more update when our Kronos FB mod visited Korg HQ.
At least , that was his takeaway. We all know about NDA's.

My 'patience ' goes thru 1/31/19. On that date. I accept 'what is ' and make my gear plans for a few years.

I am a fan of this EXS

I am working on an original which screams for a great sax part.

Without a doubt SOP saxes are the way to go. Realism, punch, articulation , expressiveness, growl, breath, its all there.
