I want to change my username.

Pretty sure you can't change your username nor can you delete the account (a couple of the oversights in the version of phpBB being used). Maybe contact Sharp or karmathanever and ask them if they could kindly delete your account for you so you can create a new account with the username you wish to change to.

In the administrator's login section it does look like I can change your username BUT it would be a risk for me to go ahead - Sharp could confirm this I'm sure.

Hi Pete.
Yes, just access a members profile as normal and at the top of that same page you can see their user name is in a plain text editable field. If you change that, scroll down to the bottom and hit submit it will update their account to the new user name.

I may as well leave this to you to edit so you can see how it works for real. Any problems just shout.

And since I can have your attention for a moment, I've been trying to place my custom avatar for a long time, I've tried extensions .jpg and .png and I can not get it.
I have read here in the forum the same situation of others, but I do not achieve despite having the image with 65x65 and 12 kb.
I would appreciate your help!

Easiest way to use a custom avatar is to upload the avatar file to an image hosting service then use the direct link url in the "Upload Avatar from a URL" box toward the bottom of your forum profile settings page. The direct link url is often also the address image host provide to download an image.
