[SOLVED] Korg x50 Assignable Pedal doesn't mute the volume c

Post by petedurankorgx50 »

Hi, everybody. Greetings.

I have a M-Audio expression pedal model M GEAR EX-P and I can use it with my Korg x50 with the Assignable Pedal port, but when I use the pedal for the Master Volume or Volume, the volume doesn't turn off completely.

The pedal seems to work fine, but the volume reduces not completely, the sound is still bearly listening.

Thank you very much for your help in advance. And sorry my english.

Kind regards.

Try to trade your pedal for another one which has a bigger resistance. This helped me once.
Well, I did not trade the pedals, but just soldered an additional 10K resistor before the pot inside my pedal, but the result was the same anyway.

The best expression pedal ever is the Yamaha FC7. You'll never regret the purchase.

Thank you all. Finally there was a little knob I didn't notice. That was the problem.

Kind regards.
