What keyboard mode are you in (e.g. SONGPLAY....)
If in MEDIA mode, what "tab" are you in at bottom of screen?
Did you put the files on the SD on a computer or did you copy them on the PA4X?

P.S. Remember to NEVER touch the SD card whilst the main power cord is connected (ON)

sd card
Hi Pete, thanks for your help. I have about 10 folders with sorted midi's in them. It shows them all , but only two folders open and work ok. The others come up with the message Folder not found. I am in song mode. but if two folders open, why not the rest. Mystery.

Martin has a good point - go back onto the PC and make sure the folder names are "simple" - no spaces/special characters
Let us know how you go.

Hi,
additionally you should run a "file system check" when the SD-card is connected to the computer.
And unplug it via "remove Hardware" before disconnecting.
And, the most important : You sould have at least ONE BACKUP, better TWO !
Sometimes sd-cards work more than 10 years, sometimes a few mothy only.

sd card
Thanks everyone, I think I have a problem because now some of the contents of the folders have gone to 000000000 instead of midi names. Now it's the next day, I have repaired computer, but still the sd card is only recognizing some. I will have to have another look at all this at a later time, I have put them all on a USB stick and they all work find from there. Cowards way out but I will have another go at the sd card in the future.

Hi Marion
If your SD card is fine on the PC and not on the PA4X I am hoping that you have NEVER switched SD cards whilst the PA4X POWER cable is connected else you may have permanently damaged the PA4X - this is in the manual.
I think this warning should be in a huge font in RED in the manual gut it's not. Most of us these days expect USBs and SDs to be hot-swap - PA4X is OK but NOT with SD cards.
Hopefully you have never done this.
Suggestion:-
Get a different SD card.
With the power completely OFF, insert the new SD in the PA4X, switch it on and format it on the PA4X.
Get all your MIDI files/folders onto a USB
Insert the USB and copy all those files/folders to the SD card.
