Post OS V3 switching off and back on of own accord

While in demo mode listening to the new V3 demo and after a few hrs with OS V3 installed today the PA4X switched off and back on of its own accord with my hands know where near the unit ??? Looks like we or (i) could possibly have a stability issue ???

(16 other appliances in my studio showed no signs of power problems at the same time)

That is seriously not good and would be a disastrous bug to analyse and fix.

Yes I will Pete... this is odd... this pa4x has been rock solid out of the box and only a few hrs in after the new V3 install I had this event... its 5am pa4x switch on I will run it all weekend and get some extra play time during the week also... if this happens again and say for a 3rd time i will then revert back to V2 and see what happens... I will remove this report from the "Sticky V3 bug section" and try to establish some more understanding and watch for any other reports of this nature as this may not be a V3 problem???

Same problem, one shut down after aprox one hour.
Second time after loading a MIDI file where i play along whith, this was before i restored my set saved before the update.
After restoring my set it dit not happend again.
I will do more testing today.
One more thing, i can choose duch as as language after restart nothing changed.

Ok if we get a 3rd report of a shut down I will reinstall this issue in the "STICKY V3 bug section" and I think a phone call to korg will be followed......

So it did this when you were away from it (i.e. it was ON but idle?)

Gonna try mine too - I'll be straight back to 2.2.0 if it happens

Let's keep this one alive - by all means put it in the bug report - it can always be "removed" if we discover a reason or Korg fix....
Important for others to be mindful of this at least.

Hi Pete ...I think I have isolated my particular shutdown/restart issue which for me happened in the "demo mode" (which I never normally bother with as I was this time exploring are new V3 update) and of course I realise there are other members getting the same issue with diffrent actions with other application... but what I can now do is replicate and repeat a shutdown/restart which is slightly different from my first initial report....so in demo mode "style" again with one of the demo's running from the tiled screen if you move around selecting diffrent style demos at some point during this process the last selection (pressing a tile) triggers the above event... so I have been repeating this all morning and it is easy to replicate... then coming out of demo mode and going back into "style play" mode and making lots of selections of different styles and generally giving the keyboard a good work out with lots menu actions etc.. to find out if i can trigger this event (bug) seen in the "demo mode"... so far i have been unable to trigger this event (bug) in "style play" mode (not very scientific but the best I can do at the moment) but to answer your question i have had no repeat of an uninitiated shutdown/restart as described in my initial report so far.....

I've been watching carefully for this issue since I gig heavily with this board. I've been running the OS continuously for 8 hours straight doing styles, mp3, recording, demo, etc.

Thankfully, it has not shut down once. I do NOT have any custom sounds.

check "Sticky v3 bug" some confirmation there....
