Hi guys,

maybe this picture helps. It is created by Jürgen Satorius - famous German Pa4X user.

Maybe Korg did some new options in V3 regarding exchange of styles between Musikant and International version.

So now I wonder if there is any difference in PA4X hardware - i.e. can you actually simply load MUSIKANT OS on the international PA4X?

Keep in mind, this picture says that Musikant has sounds that are not in the International model. That means you can move the style to the international model but it does not sound very well because of missing sounds.

The Pa1000 musician extension can only be used with a Pa1000. The reason for this is that the copy protection function on the microSD Card is only valid for the Pa1000.

In the Pa1000 after the installation of the musician extension in the style bank management, KBD set bank management and sound bank management in each case a new storage area with the designation MUSIKANT is available. Therefore, the Musikant extension does not use any favourite/user memory locations, so that these are still available to the user for his own data

Yes OK but the OS installation installs the multisamples so is there specific hardware for Musikant.

i would think the keyboard the same just the soft ware ..
if you would load the musikant os2 , the os that format the drive , i think it would work ...
os2 format and reinstall the samples and OS ,and so on .

but this would not work for the pa4x MG Edition or Oriental because of the exter button..

Yes, Please do so Korg, Many of us know how to make a styles, with the spaces that Korg provided is not enough even now with the Direct...
- Korg can give us extra spaces or give us more directly such as direct 1,2,..v.v.v.

I think if we want the extra style space like the Musikant ,, we need to paid for it and the few more samples... it how korg look at it ,, and i understand,,,$$$$

I do really need the extra MUSIKANT 's 13 style banks ( 13x48 style locations).

Can Paolo or someone else tell us more about it?
If there is an Musicant' to International NEXT Os without any rescources, i would need it since Yesterday or even a month ago.

There are so many different P4x Versions,so It seems dificult to believe that such an Os option just doesn't exist.

Plz if someone finds out something,just let me know,thanx

It looks kinda an expansion for Musikant version,
Musicant Os itself doesn't contain these banks.

In the meantime let's get ourselves even more crazy...

Some tips FYI
- The only OS version that contains factory sound resources is the GBs compressed res of version 2.
- OS version 3 has only system files , remaps & redistributes the already loaded resources by V2 due to create the required 1,5Gb
flash Rom space to support user samples that their portion will be dropped in 400Mb Ram space via samples streaming method.
- Musicant version has by default ( since 3 years) 5+ Gb of international samples and styles plus 1 GB of Musikant sound resources
also in streaming mode (localized mobo flash area) with the relevant extra Sounds & Styles and Korg just provided an extra Styles
Bank for those extra styles of this version.
- In theory and in programming level , regarding style Banks only , it's very easy for Korg Pa software developers to add as many User
Styles banks as they like ...
- It's exclusively their decision if they are willing to provide any extra Styles banks in their next corrective OS V.3xx in International version !

That's good news i suppose.
Some banks i saw,they are named like ''Local01''02 etc.

We all understand about Musikant 's localized mobo flash area.
What doesn't make sense, is that the keyboard on video is an International Pa4x,not a Musikant version.

As far as i understood,the provided extra style banks are not included in Musikant version ,but as an optional expansion pack for Musikant,SD card maybe....

So,the unlocking,or adding banks' ''key'' must be stored on Sd card ,right?
Or there is no locking at all, but some kind of trick which let you add banks in your set,can't think something else right now.
