Indeed it does appear the 8 is in stock at Zzounds. The 6 is still showing as late April for them though and they don’t have the 7 on their website :?:

Same with American Musical Supply. I hope Sweetwater gets their stock soon so I can get mine shipped.

I too preordered from Sweetwater. It's surprising that they were the early adopters to advertise and take pre-orders but other retailers are getting stock first. Is it confirmed that others actually have stock?

Since they offer more than the regular model, at the same price, I would strongly consider one if they would put a different color on it, like cobalt blue. Or maybe a replacement front panel could be put on that is in the original color.

thats exciting news. Did you see the SE at NAMM ?

I am on the fence on the red color. Interested in your opinion of the red splash color when you receive your SE.

Honestly, the color means nothing to me. I have always wanted a Kronos, and was ready for an upgrade off my mpk88. So it was just good timing.

That's funny b/c I'm in it pretty much only for the color. I kinda need a Kronos 61 ASAP for a gig but I'm trying to find a way to bridge the gap for another month to wait for the SE 61 because I'd much rather have the red than the black.

There is a benefit of having contrast between panel and buttons.
However, a red colour is tiring for your eyes.
So if you work long hours in SEQ in daylight, there some side effects.
