Importing Samples

How long can imported samples be? :o

The longest I want to import is approx 5 seconds long.

i dont think there is a time limit as such,only a size limit.
But do remember that if your sample plays on the first beat and is longer than the pattern it will retirgger before ending (not sure if it will continue into another pattern if nothings on that part)

You can do some fun stuff with samples longer than the pattern length.

eg - sequence it to play on the very first beat of the pattern - Mute it immediately once it starts.

If you dont change to a different Pattern that sample will play out until its end ready for you to UnMute the next time the Pattern restarts.

I've made 32 long bar single mono samples and use them as background texture and to also act as aural 'cues' to jamming with the other pads.

Hi how do you do that, with another user we have problem with chaining pattern:if I got a cymbal in the end of the 4 bar,will cut out the sound in the beginning even with exactly the same setting between pattern.
