Hello everyone.
I have just registered on this forum, so I apology in advance if same question was already asked.

Short story about my self:
I'm 25 years old guy. Played accordion for whole of my life.
After many disputes, lost hopes, and many, MANY problems (which I would keep as my privacy), I decided to abandon it all and do and play what I love. Different genre, different instruments, move to another country/region (Scandinavia).

I have found an AMAZING offer for korg pa4x keyboards on alibaba.com. Ofc, I won't give any other details about supplier except that he is 4 years VERIFIED supplier and that the product it self (korg pa4x) is produced in China. (i don't want to advertise anyone here).
The offer is so good that it's almost too good to be true.
900$ for keyboards with 2 years international warranty and 60 days return period.
I talked to them via whatsapp and they have agreed to trade via paypal.com (where I could ask for refund in case they don't send the product, or anything else goes wrong).

Honestly speaking, even that is a lot of money for me to risk. I took loan to buy my self a keyboard, so I REALLY can't risk to lose it all now.

What would you do if you were in my skin? Any suggestions? Tips?

Your skepticism is well founded. I would not purchase it if it was me. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The mere fact that you are suspicious should tell you something.

Keep saving, you'll find the right keyboard for you.

AGREE!!! If it sounds too good to be true it will be a scam of some sort.

These "offers" have come up before and have been fake and very suspect (like "stolen goods" etc...)

Please be very careful (and WELCOME to the forums!!!)

I know people who tried to buy a synth like that,
and when they got it it was the original box,
with the original alluminium keyboard inside,
but full of stones in it instead of PCB's.

It's a 100% scam,not just stollen items that they try to sell.
They have the right weight,they are sealled,and you can't prove that you didn't put the rocks in yourself,so be carefull

I saw these offers on alibaba
There is no informations on suppliers and the images related to the articles are PA3X , not PA4x

To my opinion, it's too risky

So Alibaba are advertising new PA4X-76 Oriental complete with keyboard stand, expression pedal, damper pedal, adjustable stool, USB flash drive, headphones and audio cable for $700 (US$) and their ad says "free shipping worldwide" plus "buy 2 and get one FREE"

Sounds pretty genuine to me

The sad part is that there will be those who'll go for it. And mega scam artists Alibaba just pocket the cash and laugh. Well named, Alibaba, they could have retained the Forty Thieves part.

Don't fall for it Fake fake fake, I almost fell for it few months ago.
Here is what I did, ask this seller if he can ship COD, and see what he will tell you. I bet you it is the same person that I talk to via email.

however another Alibaba add actually beats it:
