New PA1000 User saying hello, and thanks for this forum!

Post by chris k »

Hi Folks,

Been lurking here a while now --- so may as well say hello.!

Owner of a new PA1000; have already updated the software, grabbed Reuben's awesome Yamaha Piano .SET and have been having much creative fun with this new board. Thanks to all the earlier postings on this forum to point me in the right direction from the get go.

I've previously used the Roland D50, Kawai K1, and had a Korg Triton 61 Studio from 2001-2009; which was my main synth. The PA1000 will be my first "PA" style keyboard I've owned.

Happy to be back using KORGs now after a 10 year hiatus not having something to play around with.

Cheers.

- Chris K.

Welcome Chris.

Great choice

If you are unaware then Korg has produced a series of Video Tutorials on each keyboard in their range. Each video in the series gives a great overview of specific features.

Youtube search Korg Video Manual PA1000

Additionally in the UK we have a Korg produced magazine called PA World and via the Korg World website there are links to a Crowdcast platform where every couple of weeks Luke and Adam who are Korg UK Staff host a live interactive webinar for about one hour, you may like to look at the past sessions and if you can log in and watch the next one do note that the broardcast times are BST (Summer time is GMT +1 hour]
