Sound engine of EK

Post by archil »

Is it HI synthesis like pa50/60/80/triton?

It sounds really clean and crisp!

I would say so yes as the resources from the Pa50 Mircro Arranger are supposed to be compatible.

Is it possible to transfer sounds/performances from pa50 into the EK also?

If you download the Manual you will see File and Folder Structure -Page 25

The Ek-50 has a Keyboard Set List for collective (up to 4 voices) with the file derivation .json. The file derivation for program files is .PCG (whatever they are?)

PCG files stands for, Program, Combination, and Global. Both of my Korg workstations use the same structure.
