Volca Drum - different Waveguide settings for each Part ?

Post by cpcohen »

I could experiment, but it's faster to ask:

. . . On the VD, can I have different Waveguide settings (Decay/ Body/ Tune) for each Part ?

. . . Or do all Parts use the same Waveguide settings ?

The "manual" is just vague enough for me to be hopeful . . .

Thanks --

From the manual:

"each part has two identical layers and the waveguide resonator is shared for all parts."

Read the manual! Why people don't do that?

a) because I was (untypically) lazy;

b) because IMHO the "manual" is unusually terse.

The block diagram is (unfortunately) accurate:

. . . each Part has its own mix of "direct" vs "effect" sound, going through the Waveguide;

. . . there is _one_ set of Waveguide parameters.

I was hoping for something different . . .

Sorry for the trouble.
