We have a Korg 01/WFD here in the store that looks great. Unfortunately no sounds. I've replaced the bat and attempted to re-initialize. Still no sounds. Is this something a brilliant tech like myself should be able to trouble shoot or solve via downloading fresh sounds?
We're not married to it but it looks so good I thought we'd look into fixing it.
Thank you

Lack of sound could could have several different causes, including component aging, usually capacitors. Was the re-initialisation successful as far as the display is showing the Programs and Combis correctly, or are all the Program and Combi slots showing Init Prog or Combi, or similar?
Check the following: Amplifier or headphones are connected to the correct jack sockets; the Master Volume is turned up (between 25% and half way is usually a good starting point); Are any of the level parameters set to 0; The Global mode MIDI parameter should be set to On; Disconnect all pedals and MIDI cables.

Re: Korg 01/WFD
All 01/W factory settings are in ROM. They can be reloaded via Global Page 7.mikeskory wrote:We have a Korg 01/WFD here in the store that looks great. Unfortunately no sounds.
