Patch for The King Is Coming by SEU
There's a song out there by SEU called The King is Coming.
The patch and high synth part sounds pretty awesome, but I'm not sure how to create an all purpose patch for it. Any volunteers out there? Many thanks!

it sounds doable.
I suppose you would like some one to roll a combi for you
Anyway, the electro pulsing bass is very close to existing Kronos programs.
you didn't say if you wanted drums, but their electronic drum pattern and kit is common.
Once you match up those 2 and add a pad, you arena your way. That high synth sound doesn't sound familiar.

Sorry for lack of clarification.
The bpm according to research is 71bpm, but thankfully I can adjust it as needed.
Basically I'm hoping for 3 parts:
1st: the base like rythm on the lower half, (muted upper octaves)
2nd: in the upper octaves, a synth sound reasonably close to the sound thru the prechorus and Chorus. Trying to adjust my current messy combi feel like adding to an already horrible mess. XD
3rd: if doable, the quiet bridge part. Even if its turning down certain channels at that part.

if I have time, I will see if I can get close to your 1], the electro bass syncopation.
I used a somewhat similar in my " Missing Bowie " . Or at least thats what I recall might be a close fit.
My approach is mostly bottom up, not top down. For a multi part combi with a groove or beat. Its like building a house, it needs a foundation.
In this case I would solve rhythm, for your song that is drums + bass.
You have BPM which is the 1st step
I understand you don't ' need ' a drum part for your band. However you need to build off the drum + bass rhythm to support the keyboard parts

the synth. bass part I was trying to recall is " Electro Clash Bass "rolias_mot wrote:Those are some good points. I tend to get excited and forget to focus on the 1st steps. Thanks.
Not sure if its a good fit. Dial it up, set 71 BPM and see if its close.
add drum track if you like.
Anyway, you can check out the many synth bass programs, add Karma which is an ARP, set to 71 and you should find a good fit.
From there, use the ' split feature' for an instant new combi. Tweak it, then you have a solid foundation for more parts.
That would be my approach for a cover.
