Applying master fx to everything

Hi,How do you apply the master fx to the output of the esx2 and not just to the track selected?

I want to be able to use the touch pad to add filters etc but at the minute it seems to only apply to the selected track.

Also, is there anyway to connect a midi keyboard that will play on all tracks?
The only way i can see to do it is by connecting a keyboard and having to change the midi channel on the keyboard (menu diving) for the track i want to play on (these tracks are midi out tracks to external synths).
Another option (seems complicated) is to some how set it up so all the midi outs from the external synths end up going back into the esx2 ....
