D1 Velocity issues

Hi
I have a new Korg D1 and I use it as a midi controller.
The problem is that the maximum velocity I could get from the keys was around the value 90 (and that also only when I was pressing the keys really hard)
The touch mod set on number 1. how can i fix that?

It's more about playing the keys fast, rather than pressing them hard. Having said that, even on a Touch control setting of 1, attaining velocity of 127 can be difficult, intentionally so.
