If you already have a Bluetooth LE module plugged into the device port of the Korg, like a Yamaha ud-bt01. Then you can get a airturn bt200s-6 as I have done in this video. For me it is simpler to program...

Pedal for pa1000

Post by Keymn »

The Irig Blueboard pedal can be configured for the pa1000. I will be publishing a video on this in the near future. Seems a better option...

Using Irig Blueboard pedal for PA1000

Post by Keymn »

Here is a video demo on how the Irig Blueboard controls the style parts on the Korg PA1000. Enables you to have 6 foot buttons...

I am new to YouTube video creation (please do not critique my unprofessional demo), but may give you an idea.
If I see more interest in this, can publish steps and hardware to make this work.

You will need iPad, Quicco mi.1 or similar plugged into Korg (for Bluetooth signal, Irig Blueboard, MidiFlow App (IPad, IPhone), Irig Blueboard App. This is new to me and hope lots of interest and maybe some other methods?

I first used the Airturn Bt200s-6 pedal but was having disconnect issues. Another good choice but may need some upgrading?

Update on Airturn Bt200s-6

Post by Keymn »

After having disconnect problems when it was in use, finally an Airturn factory upgrade was made. Now works perfectly.
Set each button as follows: variation 2,3,4, break, ending 2, start/stop. Easy to program with provided app, but need iPad to connect with an app like MIDIFlow. Also the Korg needs Bluetooth hardware like Yamaha ud-bt01, Quicco mi.1 or similar. Just trying to figure out how to do variation up/down setting. Do not see it in the program change messages as on page 906 of the PA1000 manual? Maybe another way?
The Irig Blueboard works too, but has 4 buttons, you can add 2 addition switches to the side inputs. Both pedals are good and work reliably in my opinion.

Do not like the pushbuttons on Airturn, thinking of adding these:
