Korg Legacy free update to Version 2?

Post by Ksynth »

Not sure if this is valid for owners of Leacy 1 version

I had given up trying to migrate from Korg User Net and never bothered to find out why it seemed to be impossible to do so. I just kept going around in circles with error messages etc

Now if they are making V2 free I would like to get that of course.

How can we get V2 if it is free but our registration seems to have disappeared?

i upgraded from v1 . the Software Pass was simple to use.

also , i was already migrated.

i did have some trouble with my migration going from winxp to win7 back in the day . contacting korg support directly was very helpful in resolving my issue with that.

what error messages are you getting ?

Tells me I have the wrong Product code / key.

Seems I lost the Product Key after installing the 6 instruments

And they do not send another.

WTF

The whole process with migration and changing web places / names etc was a clusterfuck

i'm not sure why you're swearing at me

if you have dongle era legacy collections and you have not migrated in all these years you should contact korg support and have all your codes handy

i'll leave you with advice to be polite when asking korg support for help. there's no reason why they should go out of their way for rude guy when some others are asking for help as well.

it will make every one have a nicer time of it

The current offer is free upgrade from KORG Collection version 1 products to version 2.

Have you upgraded to the KORG collection products from KORG Legacy Collection?

Regardless, I would suggest you call/phone KORG USA Tech Support. The can work with KORG Japan (who control KORG User.net and the Korg Shop) to sort out your problems.
** KORG Product Support Contacts **
(they support BOTH hardware and software)

Korg USA Product support -- https://www.korgusa.com/contactus (For fastest service I would suggest calling them on the phone)

Outside the U.S. contact your Korg Country Distributor -- https://www.korg.com/us/corporate/distributors/

Hello. Trying to get this upgrade thing worked out and wow, this is hard work! I originally purchased the Legacy Collection and have since migrated to the Korg ID. My registered products list shows KORG Collection - Legacy Bundle. I assume that is the same as Korg Collection v1. I'm now trying to upgrade to the Collection v2. I went to korguser.net and got the KORG Collection Upgrade Coupon and when I go to korg.shop to get the v2 software, the checkout procedure is requiring a payment method. Can someone provide the steps to do this? Thanks in advance
