I bought an M-Audio Air 162/4 audio interface and I'm trying to record my Korg D1 using Abelton Live Lite or Pro Tools. In both cases the audio is distorted. According to one user on Reddit my settings are fine. He thinks it has something to do with the Korg D1. Does anyone know what might be the problem? I've been searching for an answer everywhere.[/img]

Very little info on your setup to go on. Are both Line Outs on the D1 correctly connected to the inputs on the M-Audio Air? Do you see the audio level LEDs on the M-Audio interface responding to sound generated by keypresses? The levels should be peaking at around -6dB, though occasional -3dB should be OK. Adjust the level controls to avoid illuminating the Clip LEDs. Can you hear the audio correctly on the M-Audio headphone output?
