Got a Minilogue XD on the way...

Post by Musicwithharry »

So, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to gear up some more in my studio. I have a number of synths already (as most of you know from my other posts in other threads).

I decided to get a Minilogue XD. It should be here tomorrow. It will be neat to have analog in my studio again. If I like it (which I will), I will likely get the Minilogue XD table top module as well and turn mine into an 8-voice setup.

I also bought a Korg Kross 88 (first gen). I already have the 61-key original version, but got a good deal on the 88 (Platinum version), so I picked it up.

I am also considering the Behringer Deepmind-12, but will see how the Korg feels and see if I actually need the Behringer or not. I am hoping, with 3 oscillators, the Korg will fit my needs (I am sure it will).

I think that my pad sounds will expand quite a bit with the Minilogue XD, and especially when combine my Ensoniq VFX-SD Transwaves with it. The layers and possibilities should be endless :)

Harry
