[Solved] Gotek USB floppy drive cannot recognize any

Post by John Shin »

Just 2 dots flashing...

At first it seems to dissapear (sign of working)
but then reappear again and its on the loop...

I tired 2 usbs.
one 1gb
one 4gb

Both all formatted with usb floppy manager on win7.

Not so sure why it's not recognizing any of my usbs...

When I turn my triton on,
three bright red 0s are on.
Green LED light is on.
But..
On disk menu,
it says no disk.

Did I do something wrong here?
Or...
my Floppy drive cables are simply faulty...?

Anyone has similar problem like me?

thanks in advance.

Which model of Gotek floppy emulator are you using?

I've copied and pasted the model name straight from ebay (according to my purchase history)
500 kbps✔34pin✔DC 5V✔SFR1M44-U100K✔

It came with just the drive, no cables.

Black model.

And I strongly believe that I missed some parts that I meant to execute,
that got to do with 'Floppy disk imaging' that is strictly compatible and recognizable on my Triton Classic Pro...? If I am correctly understood...?

I did not receive any software link of my model though...
So I've downloaded this one and tried formatting into 100 floppy virtual drives.
