Not getting any sound on from Triton VST
Hello everyone,
I just purchased the Korg Collection 2 and installed the plugins but for some reason my midi controller isn't accessing any sound for most of the plugins. The only one that seems to be working is Wavestation.
Can someone help me on what to do please?
Thanks in advance guys

Did you activate the software in the Korg Software Pass?
What sequencer?
What midi controller?
Is the sequencer using the same midi channel as your midi controller?
Do they work as stand alone apps versus plug ins?
When instantiated as a plug in, do the plug ins make noise when played from the keyboard of the plug ins GUI, or, if your sequencer has one, the keyboard from within your sequencer? (Like Musical Typing in Logic, or On Screen Keyboard in Bitwig?)

So correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe you are asking if i successfully installed each one from the Korg Software pass. If so, Yes I did, pranaearth wrote:Did you activate the software in the Korg Software Pass?

I am using Arturia Essential 61 Midi Keyboard
I've tried both the stand alone route and the plug in route, Neither of them work
When i play the keyboard from the GUI i get audio.... but when i play from my Arturia i get nothing. I hope that helps

From the standalone app, using Triton as an example:
Click on Menu, from within the Triton GUI
Go to Audio/MIDI Settings
Is your audio interface selected?
Is the Arturia selected as your Active MIDI input?
If there are multiple MIDI options for your Arturia inputs, have you selected the correct one?
You have to set the MIDI options for each app individually.
When using the plug in, you just have to make sure, within the sequencer itself, the proper Audio and MIDI channels are selected.
It could be by accident you set your Arturia to transmit on channel 2 instead of 1.

So I followed these steps. But what i just realized is that I am actually now getting a signal now but it's not coming from the actual keys on the Arturia. Instead it's coming from Arturia "command center" (the section where you press the 'play/pause' stop, rewind bottons on the midi controller). This is so strangepranaearth wrote:From the standalone app, using Triton as an example:
