Notes cut out when using sustain pedal
Hi folks, just bought a used Krome, looks like it's never been used, I've got a Korg half damper sustain pedal, plugged into the correct slot, notes stop sustaining after playing a certain number of notes with the pedal pushed down, calibrated the half damper as best as would be allowed, taking several attempts and always went to the max amount. Don't have this problem when not using the sustain pedal and has the same issue with another pedal I've tried. 10 minutes into a new for me keyboard and hit a wall of frustration as the notes just randomly stop sustaining, any help much appreciated, thanks, Jazz Fly Cliff

This is a polyphony problem. When you reach maximum polyphony (number of notes sounding at the same time), some notes will start to stop.cliffyzman wrote:Hi folks, just bought a used Krome, looks like it's never been used, I've got a Korg half damper sustain pedal, plugged into the correct slot, notes stop sustaining after playing a certain number of notes with the pedal pushed down, calibrated the half damper as best as would be allowed, taking several attempts and always went to the max amount. When you press the sustain pedal, the notes will stop when they reach the polyphony of a particular engine.
In Kronos there is a screen where you can follow this, in the home menu, in one of the tabs. I don't know where the tab is inserted in Krome, but it must have too.
