Working with sng files on laptop

Post by paulwheelermusic »

Trying to open my sequencer sng folders on a laptop so I can rearrange the song order for live performance. I have read Alchemist works, but can't find it. How does everyone else do setlists for live performance? The cue list is a pain to work with, can I open the sng folders on a laptop, create new performance folders and move individual songs around various folders? I have been told by Korg you can but can't seem to get any info on how. SD reader just shows folders and won't open them.

It's easy to arrange the order using Krome:
Start the Krome to have the Seq empty.
Press MEDIA select your SNG and press OPEN.
Select one song and load it in seq at your preferred position. Load other song and load it in the next position and so ...

Now save the SEQ on SD card with different name. For Example SET1. Keep your main SNG file to make other SET with different order then save with different name again.

Thanks, don't know why I didn't think of that.

Setlist for live performance

Post by beerbelly46 »

I use Camelot Pro with my Ipad to change COMBIs whilst playing live.
It’s superb as I can change all my keyboard sounds with 1 button press- especially when I have COMBIs all over the place.
It takes a bit of work to set up- but it’s been a lifesaver for me.
