Variation problem

Post by bellowsboy »

Hi, I have a PA 1000,a style I want to use is in Bonusware called Te Pego.
The problem I have is with variation one. It has a two bar run,but the second beat is stronger than the first beat making it harder to stay in time. Any help would be appreciated so I can hear the first beat.

You can edit the style, go into the Event Viewer and increase the velocity on the first beat to make it louder. When you are done, listen to it and make sure it works the way you want it to. Then, save the style and exit the style editor and you should be set :)

Thank you for the reply, but I could ask perhaps for some direction as I have not stepped into this area before. Dave

i have been a step further to understand how things can be done. I selected Record button, selected dropdown box and alter style. At the bottom selected the first beat 0000.1 ect but did not see an instrument only an oval 0 with diagonal sla
sh. Is there anywhere I can look for learning advice please. Dave
Ps. I have since been told the Te Pego style is Reggea and does not use a first beat but picks up on beat two!
