Sounds like a FM synth bass. Perhaps a DX7 judging from the '95 release. Maybe you can find something close on Mod-7 & tweak it. Good Luck!

Yeah, or go through the DX7 sysex libraries posted.

Good ear and knowledge , Steve.

Kronos has ten MOD-7 synth bass Programs.

"Take [My] Breath Away" is half way right.
Its not close enough to fit it into my mix of 14 other instruments plus the Vocal.

It has too much " Bow" and the low end is weak [ EQ can fix this]

Unfortunately, I am not skilled at MOD-7 tweaking.
