Hi thanks for the reply. I have done all that you have suggested and it is still the same. I am coming to the conclusion that it my be the amplifier card. I have contacted Korg on SA but they are closed. Korg Uk does not want to assist me. Any suggestions on where I can purchase a new amp board.duby2 wrote:If nothing else works I would do a back up that's a full backup of all your stuff and then...
Format and reload your operating system,,,
do not reload your backup,,
test the system out see if there's any noise..
There is no noise then it has to do with some of your settings styles sound something like that...
If there's no noise I would load one item at a time global done sounds , styles and so on...
And I would reboot between each item that I reload sometimes loading something does not to take affect until the reboot...
But if you format and do a clean install and you have no static noise or hissing sound..
And it has to do with something did you did new sounds new styles changing he cues something weird

Hi thanks for the reply I have tried the headphone and it works perfect. I am convinced now that it is the amp Card that is faulty. I have contacted korg in South Africa but they are closed. They are at the best of times useless to deal with. I wanted to order a EC5 from them and they said to me they do not import EC5 so I bought it from Thomanns in Germany. Any suggestions where I can purchase a new amplifier card.Korghelper wrote:First things first...
Check the headphone outputs to see if they’re having the same problem.
Will they sell these boards to consumers?I replaced the amp board years ago on my Roland accordion. A few months back wanted to buy a spare and they stopped selling internal parts. Just hardware exterior parts to consumers.Chandeneze wrote:Hi thanks for the reply. I have done all that you have suggested and it is still the same.
