Minilogue XD, CV in - Monotron?

I was wondering if it's possible to send signal to Minilogue from Monotron through CV in? I plugged it, but didn't know what to do really. I opened the Program edit for CV in, but didn't get any extra changes in sound while moving knobs to Monotron (or Minilogue)

The Monotron output is audio/headphones only. There's no CV coming out of it; that would require opening up the Monotron and soldering jacks to the correct points on the PCB. Same goes for the AUX in on the Monotron, that's pure audio in. Here too, opening up the Monotron and with soldering some jacks to the correct points on the PCB, it can respond to CV inputs.

Without the modifications, the Monotron should be seen as a sound generator or as a filter effect for other audio sources.

Now, I would need some interesting system to send the CV. Any cheap model recommendations?

You may want to check out the Korg SQ-1 sequencer as a CV generator.
