Hello,
I have PA4X - looking for good Indian styles that will work on PA4X - I have had a set for PA800 - which does not work on PA4X - Can anyone please help me where I can get KORG PA4X Indian / DESI Styles - Tabla / Dholak.

Hi & welcome

Your PA800 styles should work on your PA4X - the only issue may be the sounds.

Thanks for your input - it does load on Pa4x- but the sound of Dholak and tabla sounds like midi tone - it doesn’t play beat properly as it should - it works fine on pa800 and pa900 - do I need to do anything different to get the tabla / Dholak exotic sounds - thanks

I have been creating Indian styles since the Korg PA 80 days. Currently I am using PA4X with a wide variety of Tabla / Dholak / DHol and other Indian percussion instruments.

Please let me know what specific styles do you need.

Allan,

The Indian set for the PA900 is incompatible with the PA4X, as the SD card needs to be in the instrument when playing the set, and it does not read it in the 4X. It ONLY works with the PA900.

But there is also a pack for PA1000 from Korg - "Pa1000 Indian Collection"
Is that compatible for PA4X?

Hi Allan and everyone,
The styles on the videos are the ones that were made by Korg India.
I purchased the Sd card from korg for my Pa1000 a while ago, however some of the sounds on the videos are developed by other users.

Korg shop are gud,but with my suggestion its worst, and useless, becauseni didnt get my card or any another details as i tried with furtados as well,

In my opinion i suggest "KORG TECHNICAL MAESTRO & KORG KEYMAN" they both will provide you genuine data prepared by them self, and also have korg shop data which can be workable without sd card,in my opinion they are better then korg shop because there has not any details regarding korg shop or where do we contact with them,

Best option are they both
